Hi Andy, Seasons Greetings to you and I hope 2015 goes well for you. Although I don't comment very often, I do enjoy reading about your progress. All the best. Alan.
  2. Seasons Greetings to all from myself also. I hope to get back to some modelling in the New Year, not managed any for a little while.
  3. Don't mention the "wrong cow" again, I think we got away with it last time!
  4. Hello John, Nice work, I have always had a soft spot for light railways. Thanks for sharing. Alan.
  5. I have also used it extensively on Factory Lane Sidings for both buildings and other scenic work. I also used a slightly more dense version which was from an old exhibition stand which had a grey foam. I used this for the cobbled road surface simply scribing with a ball point pen and painting/weathering.

Hi Chaz, Sorry I missed you Saturday. I swung by a couple of times but you were occupied. Pleased to hear things went well. Alan.
  12. Hi Mark, Good to meet up today, hope you got a few ideas for your layout. I will keep a look out for your crane build ! Alan.
  13. Welcome back Iain, good to see some of your work again - 2mm scale as well. I would need stronger specs for that stuff now days. Alan.
  14. Thanks for the feedback, I will do some tests first before trying on an actual building.
  15. Thanks Allan, I will have a play. I wondered with them being thinner sheets if it would eat through.
  16. Allan, Do you know if Colron works OK on Slaters embossed sheet as it does on the Wills sheets? Alan.
  17. Pics of completed building. I have now started on the surrounding yard area.
  18. Chris, Good progress. I personally think the Wills offering looks better than Slater's, although more work to join as you say. Alan.

Marshall 4 x 12's are great if you have roadies . . . I'm now using MarkBass kit for my bass playing, very light-weight so great for packing away after the gig. Alan.
