To those that have them, has anyone considered how to amend the first class comparment walls? Or is it possible one for an etched frame replacement like PHD's "seating" for the class 150? Still trying to decide whether to take the plunge or as I think an NSE one will look good next to my NSE 2-EPB
Page 12 gents. Incidently, am I right in thinking the black on the corridor connection isn't over all the front? It looks like the top right corner is squared off not curved like the corridor.
Whilst this works on N gauge models, on their larger cousins, why would you want to? I thought the general consensus was that, on the whole, having the motor in the loco was better all round.
I also think that the lack of a black line between the two "sections" of the gangway giving the appearance of a single piece rather than two overlapping pieces also detracts from the front.
Matt, my Bachmann 03 struggles on the "dead section" of a diamond crossing whilst my new sentinel doesn't! Number of wheels seems not to have an impact there
Since we're also suggesting steam how about this...

But hasn't there also been kits for the class 14/15/17? Not all of us have the skill to make such kits which is why the possibility of a r-t-r 07 would be so exciting
Not to do with bogies, but still 66 related. I have a Freightliner 66 bought off ebay with a 21 pin decoder fitted. It's set to 03 and runs on a shops DCC test track when I took it in, but when I try and run it on the home DC layout nothing happens. Anyone have any suggestions as to why this might be?
That said, the hobby is crying out for a decent steam shunter! Other than the Bachmann Panniers and to some extent the Jintys and the upcoming sentinels there's not much that's up to the high standards set by other larger engines.
A class 02, small, compact and a little unique in the UK with it's veranda. Or a class 07, which again are a little unique, though a restricted sphere of operations, that said it was used a fair bit in industrial railways.
Shame it was the connex one that got bumped and not the NSE one Wonder what the relative sales numbers are? Still good to see it's starting to take more of a priority
And therein lies the modelmakers ultimate conudrum. Rush it and get it out when you say you will or admit there will be delays but offer (hopefully) the best you can. Which would you rather?
Better to get it right than half right surely? Plus the fact that they are being really hands on with the BWT shows how much they want to get it right for the customer and sets a good precident. Admittedly some CAD/Engineering images would be nice but that's up to them
