  1. Has anyone seen a version that's a confirmed 'high detail' one? Only ask as from all pics I've seen so far I've no idea which is which...
  2. Have to say , I hope enough are sold for the NSE version to be produced!
  3. I have to say I prefer the finish of the green one to the blue one, though that may be the difference between final and pre production models.
  4. Nice little update there! Just out of interest Charlie, when are the Regional railways 144's planned? I assume it will be linked to how well the others sell.
  5. I can't find a good profile picture of the blue 423, but isn't the side of the connecting corridor supposed to be black? http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/8/85/3810_arriving_at_London_Waterloo.jpg
  6. Further to that Taz, the website now has this notice....
  7. Thanks Larry. How about chassis wise? I understand the earlier chassis' are a little problematic. Were there certain ones of the above that had them or are they all in the clear?
  8. Loving peoples fleets. After reading this and the other current Class 50 thread, can anyone recommend which NSE liveried ones are worth looking at picking up or is it a case of you take your chances?
  9. I'd contact Hattons direct as, in my experience, they offer very good aftersales care. Most likely they will get you to return the model to them to be fixed/replaced.
  10. Isn't that an 0-8-0 not an 0-6-0?
  11. I think the toy-like appearance may well be down to the paint scheme, though as stated, it's not the final model. And to be honest, the prototype wasn't big on external details really... http://www.preserved-diesels.co.uk/2004/5705_5.htm
  12. Perfect timing! Just what I need for my Birthday
  13. Though Charlie is talking about the r-t-r offering in this case...

    Dapol 142

Nice images there Dave, glad to see you still want to refine it though. Are there plans to up-scale it at all? Realise it is different from wagons or the Stove R but would easily outstrip the current OO offering and would run quite nicely along side the upcoming 143/144's.
  15. Ok maybe not the flywheel but that sorta sound. like a free disc of metal rubbing up against another piece of metal
  16. Well ran my L1 for the first time today and even at speed I didn't have the derailing problems that others seem to, kept a close eye on things too just in case. One thing I did notice was a few strange sounds from the motor, one almost as if the fly wheel was rubbing when it slowed down. Anyone else have this issue?
  17. Virtual cookie to Dave. As I think I said earlier, are you looking at exclusively Modern stuff and /or DMU's? If not that opens a whole host of new possibilities. Especially when the wish lists come out next year.
  18. Think that but times ten and you'll have to quantities we'll be going through tomorrow night.... About the coupling, have you guys thought of magnatising as a workign alternative to the coupling options out there? As to what next, I agree, a 142 is overdue, though a 141 or 139 might sell well too. Depends if you wanna stay with MU's or try some other motive power. Maybe one of the class 300 series if you want to keep it northernish?
  19. Any idea on prices or is it way to early to say? <BR>Also, are you planning on BR colours for both and South-west region (Wessex, FGW) for the 143's?
  20. Though with the current weather that may be a blessing in disguise...

    Dapol Class 21/29

And I thought the tired dyslexic had got away with it.... Incidently, any further news on these?

    Dapol Class 21/29

I think you're mixing up the Kernow D500's with the class 22's...
  23. Hattons have it for £88 and due in Feb. Wonder if that includes the VAT rise....
