Apart from dp1 the City of Truro is the most requested model from people I speak to. And we do try to please as many of you as we can It is a mighty fine loco after all

Ok here you go...... a very lovely Prince Henry 47799 to match Prince William , produced in 2013. And, a model asked for every week the City of Truro with red frames. Also going to make the city with black frames

We are all set for the show opening tomorrow and the 2 pre production samples are in a case all covered up so no one can see!! I was going to post a picture but by the time I got round to taking it my phone died..... Sorry...... Phone on charge and I'll post a pic first thing tomorrow

With York Show just around the corner, we thought we would let you know that the models due in 2017 from Locomotionmodels and the National Collection in Miniature are superb and we will have a couple of PRE PRODUCTION samples of some brand new models on our stand! We know you like steamies, and we know you like Diesels too so we have one of each!! How good is that!!! We are on stand 124 at the show so come and find us and see what they are! Wow!!! We are over the moon that the APT-E won 'Model of the Year'! Thank you to everyone who voted , we couldn't be more pleased! Rapido did us proud when we asked them to make this model for the NCiM series! Thanks Bill and Jason and Gareth and Thomas for doing such a splendid job! An update on Dean Goods - We know there were one or two things that need sorting out and we have done our best to make this a model worthy of the National Collection in Miniature stamp. So.. We have sorted out the livery as the colour wasn't quite right, the smoke box door caused a few issues but that is also sorted now and the roof debate... Well..suffice to say - All done! The design is finished for the packaging and it is going to be a smart looking parcel!

OK here is a more detailed description for you (pipes included!) 'The full specification and packaging of our recently announced NCiM Exclusive Editions of the Class 66 and 9F steam versions of Evening Star are still work in progress and therefore are not yet totally finalised.We have not yet signed off the final livery charts or livery EPs. That will be happening shortly. However, we can reveal that both versions will match as closely as possible the museum condition of both locomotives shown in the pictures when 66779 was unveiled and named in the NRM in May 2016 and displayed alongside 92220. Both will differ from Bachmann's main catalogue items and will feature a gloss paint (not varnish) finish of matching BR lined bronze green. The steam version will also be finished as it is preserved (unlike the Bachmann catalogue version), including extensive copper pipework. Both models will be available seperately but there will also be a special limited edition twin pack. Prices will be in line with Bachmann's main range items. Some may be available in high quality wooden presentation boxes at a small premium. All profits from the sale of the National Collection in Miniature range go directly to benefit Locomotion museum and the NRM'
