New N gauge limited edition models

Odd that there's a question mark after "N gauge this time" rather than left as a definitive statement. Let's hope its not a tease.

The middle one looks like a pack of three 2-axle wagons but are the packs just existing products used as a representative example or are truly the actual specials.

Well I really want to be positive - so I shall, it is good to see Kernow back on the darkside!!  Hopefully we can show that the future is bright and N gauge ! 37207 with  Lizze logo a sure fire winner.  Hopefully more hoods and flats will sell as well given an Iconic loco.

The future will now hopefully see thumpers !!

Teasing with fuzzy pics - ha ha !

My wallet last seen leaving in disgust.....

Thanks

Hi ,

WOW good to see Kernow return to the path of the light !! N gauge is the future so welcome back. Guessing 37207 and ECC waggons and a CCT in Maroon and love the YCV behind, albeit a little over scale!!

Hopefully the next shipment will include the Thumpers that Kernow forgot to announce  ...... (well you never know and its good to dream ! ) or perhaps a N D600......

Hopefully the good folk once released from mining can update website so orders can be placed as just had a quick look and no obvious (to me!) linkage . I have asked my wallet to hang about but just got the silent stare.

If it is 37207 WC with lizzie logo it will be a hot cake I am sure and will help shift the small remaining pile of hoods and tarps shown on website.

Well done Kernow Models

Hi first post now appeared which is a little odd as it seemed to vanish on me but two replies better than none!

Very happy about 37207, I sold my OO gauge model (also made by Kernow) to fund my conversion to N gauge so now I can get her back.

Does anyone know what the ECC wagons would run with? Guessing they are Big 4 era models

Well that is the deed done ! 37 and 2 packs of wagons ordered(hoods) hopefully  some more items might get consideration like Thumper, 4TC, Tiger clay bogies perhaps, D600 and even the 118.

Thanks KM for commissioning the 37

Robert

Tiger 55 PBA would be a definite purchase from me.  Pretty sure there were originally plans for an N version many moons ago....

I have collected my Parcels Express GUV from the post office today and I am delighted with this model which is beautiful.

I was the first to order apparently and I will certainly be the first to order any N scale Thumpers and 4TCs should they ever be announced! How about a serious investigation as to whether there is a profitable market for them, possibly by introducing a pre- order scenario?

Thanks anyway Kernow....

These commissions are a very welcome N gauge effort from Kernow. And especially as the overall model railway market seems to be quite depressed.

I hope they do well and consider further N gauge commissions.

  • 3 weeks later...

My Class 37 and ECC wagons arrived yesterday and are really nice. The 37 livery is spot on the flags on the front are very neatly represented and the BR arrows / lizard logo looks neat. I am very happy not ran it yet but will test it soon. I have often supported Kernows N gauge limiteds like the Hymeks, Choc/cream bubble car, helston gas wagons, Some OO buildings and vehicles and the recent clay hoods and now these. I hope these do well and we occasionally get a few more, skpper class 142 next please?
