What's in the editorial pages is down to the contributors submissions, if you don't like what's being submitted, submit something better.

I doubt that content is dictated by what is supplied since the previous issue. I'm under the impression that the guest editors have a choice from a stock of articles and also speak to modellers about contributing particular types of articles or even 'commissioning' what they want. Consequently submitting something won't change the overall theme of an issue. And surely it is the editors responsibility to select and ensure an appropriate balance.

 

But I could be wrong.
