First time visit to Crewe Heritage Centre as well. My bet is on the APT especially as they've done the TurboTrain - I've got two of those somewhere......now, where did I put them...... While there is an obvious Canadian bias, Rapido have produced one US model, the Osgood Bradley coaches http://www.rapidotrains.com/ob1.html (New Haven prototype), and have another American prototype coming in the General American 37' Meat car http://www.rapidotrains.com/freight2.html , and the lastest newsletter indicates that an American passenger locomotive is in development. Mind you, I have always had a soft spot for the APT-P and I regret that I never got a chance to ride on it. Still, I have a pair of Hornby ones carefully packed away in the loft so all is not lost.
