  1. I suspect there are two types of "Exhibition Standard" models. Wonderfully detailed, accurate, competition winning piece of work which hopefully also run well. A decent looking model , well presented but reliable and not likely to disintegrate when handled or transported to a show... Both have a role... Chris
  2. Exactly....and I think the consensus is that wearing a mask benefits others.
  3. Sheet lead has the advantage that it can be cut to size, painted and used as a false bottom in open wagons without losing too much of the empty wagon...
  4. I've now seen it in at least one comparison chart. Chris
  5. Yes I agree - enamels give you much more flexibility...
  6. Antics seem to have a reasonable range and fortunately are "local" to me although I've used their mail order as well. I think Humbrol reduced the range some time ago - I have some spray can colours that are no longer in the range. numbers. https://anticsonline.uk/Category/Humbrol-Enamel_N944
  7. I've found Revell to be a good substitute for most colours but Humbrol "Leather" 62 is a go-to for weathering and I've not really found an alternative. I think 85 may work but some one on here will know I'm sure. Fortunately I have a few tins of Humbrol in the stash. I use the enamel colours mainly. Chris Hopper
  8. I think they are published for Keymodel world subscribers only now - not the magazine - I discovered this just after re-newing Hornby mag. They did this during Lockdown and subscribers should have been notified of the change. I didn't see anything in my inbox.. I think they are then put on YT some weeks later. Chris
