  1. I can just see in your picture you've used box files for storing your stock. Looks like a good idea.
  2. These will go well with the Dapol 08
  3. Chaz, that looks like a nice solution. How easy is it to split and couple up stock in the cassettes?
  4. Chaz, I think with the quality of your work, it would be better to leave unfinished rather then have a not quite so good effect that might ruin the overal look. Perhaps make a little 'joke' of it by making up some roadworks signs or something. Keep up the good work
  5. Yes, Simon will be marketing these bogies and a range of wagons to go with them. I'm sure that they will be available on the building o gauge online website when they are ready. He has a build thread on Western Thunder if you'd like a preview.
  6. Ah that makes sense BoxBrownie! You may be interested to hear that Simon Varnam is about to release some suitable detailed Y25 bogies that would be ideal for your needs.
  7. You don't happen to know which issue? Better still have a copy?

  14. A nice day to walk the dog I think

  15. I don't think it's a fully new tool, just the sleeper part, so we are stuck with the spacing.
  16. Not much change in the last fifty years there....
  17. I know what you mean! Thank you for looking and letting me know.
  18. Hi Nigel, I'm interested in building on of these. Just wondered if you had any more pictures of this or the railway along commercial road by chance? Cheers
  19. Great tutorial for the yard lamps. Great tips on creating the lampshade. Maybe you should amend average to excellent in the thread title
  20. Jon, Very inspirational. The pictures of the finished lamps you've posted in the gallery are spot on. I'll be following this with interest.
  21. Jack, Sounds like a great idea, seems a shame that there does not seem to be a great deal of interest. I'm not exactly clear on the standard and just a question, had you considered the gauge o guild standard for modular boards? It may had made the modules more useful, but I suppose it does not matter a great deal if 'middle' boards are built. I'll follow your progress with interest. Edit. I've read all the posts now
  22. Hi Jon, brilliant tutorial, thank you. I want to follow in your steps, but I'm not sure where to get the White metal castings? Have you any links to any suppliers or is that why you make your own?
