I'd think that would be dependent on GBRf and their licensing agreement? i.e. whether they would then let someone else replicate it and I would imagine they would want to see similar charitable terms applied, as per the Hornby model.
-
Just tried again now and managed to secure one, persevere and you should get through.
-
I tried to get one but unfortunately I arrived seemingly just as the website refused to even load. Great idea by Hornby, shame they didn't make more of them! Judging by the comments on the Facebook post, there's quite a few unhappy people who weren't able to get one.

Having clawed back some time, LSL 47593 'Galloway Princess' arrives solo into York working the delayed 1Z94 Inverness - Stevenage 'The Statesman' charter. At this stage, the charter was 118 minutes late having been delayed due to 47810 'Crewe Diesel Depot' derailing in the Tweedmouth area. 47501 'Craftsman' also ran into difficulty having failed on the first day of the 4-day tour, resulting in it being left behind in Tyne Yard. 21st October 2019. 47593 - 1Z94 - York by Swifty's Photos, on Flickr

Speke East Sidings - Minimum Space Modern N Gauge
Swifty11 replied to Timmy84's topic in Layout topics
I'm not sure if these are the same wagons (not an area i'm particularly knowledgeable on!) but I noted a couple of weeks ago whilst on my Boris walk the 6F91 Ellesmere Port sand flow has what look to be the same wagons albeit with a big grey/black rectangle of paint applied to them. Flickr has a couple of shots. May well be too modern though! HTH -
Jack's Present Day Workbench - Coaches of Many Colours
Swifty11 replied to Jack374's topic in Modifying & Detailing RTR stock
Looks great! On a side note, there's been some discussion about 57312 in ROG on Facebook modelling pages of late and there's a consensus some of the transfers are too thick so perhaps worth investigation before buying! -
Looking for the 2014/15 release from Hornby, as shown here depicting 43043/44 in Midland Mainline livery. Any help appreciated! Thanks very much
-
Excellent news that we'll finally have a good quality 142 on the market and in Northern liveries too! Very much looking forward to purchasing one and a Northern 156 when they're available from yourselves.

Great work, nice to see the layout in the flesh and I like the little detail of the multi cable with the 37s. You looked quite busy when I briefly saw you so I didn't end up coming to say hello and we forgot to come back! -
You're not helping my resistance of buying an NSE 50 in O even though I have nowhere to run it! Joking aside, great to see the layout coming on and I look forward to the progress.

First Class 60 Scrapped
Swifty11 replied to Swifty11's topic in UK Prototype Discussions (not questions!)
It won't be a runner and it's extremely unlikely it ever will be again. It's only been saved to be an exhibit at Margate and it'll be a cosmetic restoration only, similar to that of parts donor 47841. At least it will be saved, even though it'll be on a plinth. Another shot from flickr shows it shortly after its 'leg out of bed' at Chester. 60081 "Isambard Kingdom Brunel" 6L55 Chester failure 050403 by jim40135, on Flickr -
Ron Hull of Rotherham has commenced disposing of ex DB Cargo 60006 at Toton, the first of the class to meet its end... 60086 has also been sold to the firm with 60050 sold to Raxtar, also likely for scrap. Edit: WNXX reporting 60098 has been resold... These photos are from Flickr, the photostream can be found here or by clicking on the pictures. 60006 60006 On a happier note, 60081 will survive with LSL. It will be cosmetically restored and eventually displayed at the Margate site.

Believe so, they're on hire from Eastern Rail Services based up at Weardale so I'm not sure whether they'll receive the standard yellow paint. Few rumours floating about that they'll be getting shut of the hired portobrook barrier type vehicles but there's still some kicking about. Ones currently in PLPR4.

James Makin's Workbench - 1990s dirty diesels & grotty wagons
Swifty11 replied to James Makin's topic in Layout topics
Great work as always James! I’ve been following with interest on your previous 37 projects and they’re really impressive! If only there was a layout set in the early 2000s based on Crewe IEMD which they could be displayed on...? -

Swifty11 replied to BMacdermott's topic in Modelling musings & miscellany
Apologies if this is somewhat irrelevant but I wanted to say thank you for taking the time to compile the list to hopefully show manufacturers what modellers want. It is very much appreciated. Here's hoping 323s finally make it into production! Tom -

57310 if I remember rightly was laid up there as it needs new wheels and some other stuff. I imagine, knowing the speed of decisions by its owner, it'll be there for much longer! I reckon that's a 57 body so I'm going to guess it's another Derby project, 57002?
