  5. Impressive work James, looking very good! And I don't think i've ever seen a man look happier than you in that photo haha
  6. Bit of Colas info for you all, 70812 is now in Liverpool Seaforth, spotted on the dock today. 47739 worked a sleeper train solo last night, think it was the highland Aberdeen job. 47749 rescued 350130 as 1Z99 which had failed on the fast between Tamworth LL and Litchfield TV LL before moving the pantograph-less set to Stafford as 5U33.
  7. 099 with 175 has done lots of bits of Scotland the last week and a bit, currently on its way back to Derby now on 1Q83 Blackpool North - Derby RTC via the world.
  8. Storm Dorris really has caused chaos today, 1M09 now in excess of 325 minutes late, excellent idea to chose today to do coursework!

  11. 31233 photographed on 1Q12, makes up for weeks of media coursework!

  12. Always nice when you see someone has pinched one of my photos and uploaded it as his own! Grrrr.

  13. One from last night at Warrington Bank Quay of Jim's train waiting a route after changing ends on 97302 on 3Q94 Bangor CS - Crewe CS (including a 2 hour+ stop at Rhodee Jn!) 26/1/17 9702 and a UTU in tow. Very, very cold!!!!

  16. 88002 now on UK rails, offloaded at a warehousing facility on Brunthill branch, currently being tripped to Kingmoor by 66432 and 66422 with the 88 sandwiched in the middle.
  17. Nice to see you as usual Jim, and good to see a cameo appearance in one of your shots too, albeit accidental! Here's my effort, 37608 - 1Q50 - Crewe by Swifty's Rail Pics, on Flickr
  18. Nikon Cashback sorted after 2 weeks of submitting, very happy!!

  19. How about some rare shed action? DB Cargo EWS liveried 66182 leads Pathfinder tours 'The Mersey Weaver II' out of 'The Hole', the line from Warrington Arpley to the down slow, at Warrington Bank Quay working 1Z25 Westbury - Earlestown Up & Down loop. 14/01/17 Passenger trains are very rare through 'the hole, freight trains use it as required, although i've only ever seen it happen twice before. Annoyingly the sun was head on, making it difficult to try and get a decent shot, but as trains are uncommon through the hole, and passenger trains very rare, it was worth a trip even for a record shot.
  20. The Arpley Junction challenge is a go...

  21. It visited WBQ late last year on its first test in Colas colours, not its first visit to Southport either! I'll be buying a model of it for sure, looks great.
  22. Colas Rail 37099 'Merl Evans' passes Warrington Bank Quay with the structure gauging train working 1Q06 Crewe C.S. - Derby RTC via Southport and Kirkby. 11/01/17 Nice to see 099 looking relatively clean too.
  23. Top marks Bachmann, you've excelled yourself this year! Hopefully not too expensive...
