I remember seeing a Herald passing a line of parked cars, the offside was comfortably within the centreline of the road. A mumsie SUV following it overhung the line by a couple of feet... The Devil must have had further plans for the bu@@er.

Must admit I've never used this remote-control shopping malarky. There's a Sainsbugs, a MegaTesco, an Asda, an M&S foodhall,, Local Tescos, Aldis and Lidls within a couple of miles and a Morrisons, another large Tescos, another M&S foodhall and another Asda within 5 miles radius. We're rather overserved by local supermarkets! I forgot, there's two more Aldi stores in the 5 mile zone, but one of the 2 mile zone Aldis has gone offline for refurbishment/enlargement...

I was going by the cable colour, my Duette has grey cable, I associate black with more "modern" equipment. Thanks for pointing out the plug, must admit I've still got lamps that have white bakelite plugs on them...

Another moment of satisfaction came from one of the digital channels police-chase programmes last night when an Audi, taken for insane driving and not collected, went into the crusher. The last shot was of four rather bent circles on the front of the former "vehicle"... 🤣

'tis raining and cold. Say no more... Grey (recycling) bin today. Crammed to the brim with stuff. Luckily I put it out yesterday evening, when it was dry. Binnies collect any time between 8am and 4pm. No sign of 'em so far...

Sunny here too. Met office says its going to be sunny all day with less than 5% chance of precipitation. However, temperatures are expected to stay in single figures.
