Track it this morning and see if there are any later scans recorded in the detailed tracking. Not sure on the ups scanners but on the fedex ones the touchscreen button for “customer unavailable “ is right next to the “ delivered” button and the drivers have fat fingers..... Failing that call ups on 03457 877 877 and ask if their log shows further details. If it doesn’t then ask them to contact the local depot, ask the driver where he left it, and call you back....drivers are normally very goods for a couple of days after the event but after that newer delivery’s start to push data from their memory’s. once you have exhausted these options it is the sellers responsibility to chase or claim as they hold the contract with UPS.

Model Rail standalones as a freebie

Nah if you want frustrating tactics and games there was a photography bookazine I looked at in WH Smith’s for £18 yesterday, then looked three titles to the left to find if I bought a related magazine for £6 then I could download said bookazine as a free ebook.... Personally I like the bundled titles and if it’s a title I have previously bought I share it with my brother. -
There is a plentiful supply round here in the usual supermarkets, but all seems very short on best before dates making it difficult to only shop once a week. I do push beyond the dates but you either end up with sweaty pre-chopped leaves (spring greens, spinach, lettuce etc)which is a no-go, or buying fresh in far bigger portions that required...either way throwing too much out for my liking...

Did cross my mind it’s possibly just a distraction tactic from the low supply whilst AZ etc scale up production -

Has anyone actually made a claim under GAP insurance for a car?
Jonboy replied to Metr0Land's topic in Wheeltappers
I haven’t made a claim myself, but do be aware you can buy it online direct for a lot less and cut out the dealers kickback. -

I dunno, no kids across the family (as in neither myself, my siblings or brother in law have any yet)....not sure what the obsession on getting schools open is about.... -
I could have written that word for word about one of ours.....in the week we get up have our own breakfast, I drive the wife to work and then feed our two breakfast when I return in the vain hope the routine will allow us to sleep in at weekends....6 years of this routine and they haven’t got the memo.....

Going back to the entry fees debate I tend to look at it the other way, I am happy to pay in the region of £5-£7 per hour of “normal” entertainment which tallies with the local cinema, what I would spend in a pub, non member swimming at the local pool/lake etc etc. I do feel the local shows pre-COVID undercharged slightly for their offering but I am generally attending on my own.... -
Funnily enough ones of ours was called Mr Wheeker (the wife took too long to name him and his nickname stuck). He used to like mountaineering up across the sacks of hay and bookcases. regarding the noise level he had an injection at one point and when we came out the consultation room the entire waiting room was looking to see what could have made such a loud noise....

In my working environment it lead to a healthy considered discussion on how to complete jobs, ensured everyone left with the same number of limbs they arrived with and contractors taking care of their impact on our team as well as their own when completing maintenance. I think it works well overall but like anything in life it is an average with extreme attitudes and policy’s both ways....the health and safety manager that started demanding to see msds sheets for bic biros at a volunteer organisation where almost everyone bought their own pens being my favourite ....

Frankly I think the only way Monaco could be improved is with a diverging route so instead of the harbour chicane you have the option to go straight, to the right of the tree line and rejoin further down. There is a S bend two thirds of the way down so it’s either chicane and long straight or medium straight, chicane and short straight. it would allow different chassis and drivers to play to their strengths, and possibly liven up the procession (especially if you designate a minimum number of times the divergence has to be taken)....not one for the purists though... https://www.google.com/maps/d/viewer?mid=1Qd87IFSbw9X4Qb2XYW1HLs07k44&source=s_q&hl=en&geocode&ie=UTF8&hq&hnear=Alcañiz%2C Province of Teruel%2C Aragon%2C Spain&oe=UTF8&num=200&start=149&msa=0&ll=43.739626064557015%2C7.4287365811255945&spn=0.005434%2C0.008669&t=k&z=18&iwloc=0004951ca4b5dfff01952

Has anyone seen anything about where the rest of the vaccines the uk have on order will be used? I ask because we appear to have 360 million doses on order vs a population of 65 million-ish. Even at two initial doses and a later booster that leaves a large surplus does it not? (I also doubt the “no-profit” will be sustained once the initial roll out is over and it takes a more normal approach, akin to the annual flu jab) -

Not to mention the reports in the press this week that AZ were not the first in line to produce the oxford vaccine. That was due to be made by an American company Merck, but the uk government blocked it to prevent a certain Presidant taking an America first stance.... https://news.sky.com/story/covid-19-rejected-contracts-and-a-hollywood-movie-how-uk-struck-deal-to-guarantee-vaccine-supply-12204044 -
There is the equivalent procedure for businesses, and I would be amazed if there wasn’t the equivalent for consumers as the EU regulations are generally strong on enforcing consumer rights such as warranty’s, but I am not well versed in the fine workings of the Dutch import rules. https://www.belastingdienst.nl/wps/wcm/connect/bldcontenten/belastingdienst/customs/customs-processes/special-procedures/special-procedures-for-goods/outward-processing-procedure

Just had our home insurance renewal come through and has a “is the home used for business purposes other than paperwork, telephone calls and computer work?” Yes or no in the proposer details. -
Except of course in the Uk you can get import tax relief on items temporarily imported, particularly if they are for repair. They do need to be clearly marked as such on the accompanying paperwork and if an electronic carrier booking there is normally a field to indict this (with our main carrier you chose from Sale, repair or replacement, or gift when making the booking on their online system). You do need to keep very clear records of the consignments coming in and going back out of the uk in case of an inspection. I have also used the same routine for items sent back to Turkish factory’s for repair in the past.

Nah if they have any sense they bond the UK warehouse so they don’t pay import taxes on arrival, pick and pack all the EU orders in the UK (including the foreign courier label). Then transfer in bulk to the EU subsidiary at cost price, so that the EU import taxes are calculated on cost price and then make the sales from the EU subsidiary to the EU customer....and the NL warehouse is just a cross dock operation for uk outline models....

In the perfect world it would be rolled into the payment gateway (e.g Barclaycard, PayPal, Sagepay etc) as they have the size and well established website connector protocols to roll it out.....but the sheer volume of commodity code and tariff rates makes it a minefield.

Received our national trust guide book today, if ever a book seemed pointless to publish this is it.....although they have removed all details of opening hours for each site which seems appropriate.....
