  1. Hello Tom, due to the link in the NGRM-online forum I have discovered this fine thread about your excellent layout. That is top-class modelling ! Thank you very much for building, photographing and showing this. Most enjoyable. Yesterday night I have read all 17 pages and admired your pictures. It took around 2 hours as I am not a native english speaker, but it was really worth the time. Well, square eyes afterwards... I do look forward for your new project then, which I follow -this time on NGRM-online- with some pleasure. Best wishes Dirk
  2. Hello there ! The island of Wangerooge is in the north sea. For some more infomations about the ng line (1000mm-gauge, still running) see: https://www.inselbahn.de/index.php?nav=1000008&lang=1 Cheers Dirk
  3. Marc, thank you ! Good to see, I was a bit afraid that these items would not be available then. Best wishes Dirk
  4. Hello there ! Just noticed that the website of Dingham is 'down'. Are they still in business ? Thank you in advance for your help. Best wishes Dirk
  5. Neil, just 'discovered' your thread. How entertaining ! Thank you for sharing. Best wishes Dirk
  6. A bit late to the party. LKM (Ns1) instead of CKD ? Superb modelling. Cheers Dirk
  7. Great modelling, James ! I do understand that sign but I do wonder what is behind that (no, not the brick wall...). Can someone explain, please ? Cheers Dirk
  8. Hello there ! For those who would like to know about Billerbahn (tin-plate narrow gauge in a scale of 7-9mm/ft) please see: http://www.billerbahn.de/Englisch/Listing-eng.htm Sorry for being off topic. Cheers Dirk
  9. Wow, what a surprise ! I am really looking forward for this tiny loco (as for the 0-4-0ST Peckett with the 'open' back of the cab). With a few small locos already at hand this cries for a shunting plank now. If only Peco would offer small radius Bullhead points soon... Cheers Dirk
  10. Hello Andrew, the chassis is Roco H0, isn't it ? Btw. a very nice model. Glad that I have seen it a few years back at Burton. Cheers Dirk
  11. Hello there ! Thank you for showing the pictures. Additionally to the mentioned Feldbahn serie by Zeunert (http://www.zeunert.de/epages/73779.mobile?ClassicView=1) I would like to recommend this book (it's about german peat railways only): http://www.drehscheibe-online.de/lieferprogramm/liefer.php?DS=3&set_page=2 (The third offer 'Torfbahnen in Deutschland') Cheers Dirk
  12. Dave, thank you for your reply. Now I know what 'white spirit' in german means, so I now only need the blue Peckett for treatment... Your weathering looks very authentic, well done ! Cheers Dirk
  13. How did you do that, please ? That you in advance for your answer. I am looking forward to follow this thread. Best wishes Dirk
  14. Andrew, that would be most appreciated as I am not too familiar with the manufacturers, their offered parts and the availability of them. Best wishes Dirk
