Could you imagine the hassle and problems there would be if these chaps had to open a door on their advent calendar and it fell off........!!!!!

Leave the rest up to your imagination.......

Well I suppose we could do this or perhaps that. I tell you what let's have a brew and we can talk it over. Hey up Fred that kettle boiled yet. I'm fair gasping for a cuppa. All this talking fair worn me out

"Alright, " said Fred, "Have to put the door on
Need more space to shift the so-and-so."
Had bad twinges putting on the hinges
And it got us nowhere
And so we had a cuppa tea and...

"And beneath it is the bloke in the bowler hat."

Oops, sorry - wrong song...

I don't like advent calendars - I think their days are numbered.

I think we have long been looking at this photo the wrong way.

At the conclusion of Raiders of the Lost Ark the Ark is crated up and Indiana Jones is told that the Ark has been moved to an undisclosed location for "top men" to study.

Behold KNP's photo of the "top men" on the cusp of revealing the awesome power of the Ark of the Covenant!!

For years this Toad had sat in a box and just waited for its day of freedom.

Then I had the idea of permanent way train, saw a converted 20ton brake van model and the way was decided.

This is an old Bachmann model and needed some tidying up…..

So now a new wagon is on the rooster

Very much a hybrid, used what I had to hand which is why it says it must be returned to Plymouth….better than the other one I had which was for Slough!

Just the S & W couplings to add…

Very Tidy job.
What an old git, like me, says, 'Proper Modelling', using old kit and making a unique model.
Regards,
Chris.

Caught by our local train spotter friends the nucleus of the permanent way train passes by.

The crane and match truck will not formally form part of this formation but can be called upon when required.

Prairie 4550 has the honours today with more wagons on their way over the next few weeks...

One of those trainspotters must have been very well informed to be in the right place at the right time...

I have a feeling I should have put a couple of windows in the back elevation.

Will leave for now and get on with the rest of the wagons.

Bag of rods have arrived so perhaps I might go back and finish the cattle dock!

Decisions, decisions....?

No mad rush just let it all happen in it's own time, just slow down and enjoy the perpetual mid Summer in LM

O.K. The Cranes gone, so now we have more time to think and work out how were going to do this job.
