This seems a bargain to me:

38-100 Bachmann 34 Ton PNA Ballast Spoil Wagon £7:76

Temporarily out of stock but you can order it (Kernow have always delivered in the end in similar instances)

http://www.kernowmodelrailcentre.com/p/12412/38-100-Bachmann-34-Ton-PNA-Ballast-Spoil-Wagon

Hi,

The RRP of this wagon should be about three times the RRP shown on the Kernow website so it may be an old entry.

The wagon does not appear to be on the Bachmann website at present.

Regards

Nick

I see that MRD are offering new Farish Pannier locos for £75 - a discount of over £30.

I can't advise on a specific bargain (I bought it!) but Bill Hudson transport books are doing free delivery at the moment. They don't seem to come up in the usual book search engines but found the book I wanted from them at a third the cost of other online sellers via page 4 or 5 of a tenuous Google search. Sometimes insomnia has it's benefits!

Strange, I just ordered an 2EPB and a 66 and the total matched the price on the page (plus 4 quid postage)

It is confusing/strange the way the VAT is separately itemised but not added to the Total cost

Nor me - the price quoted was the price I paid.....

It's a legal requirement on a consumer website in the UK to show the VAT inclusive price and that is what MRD do.

It's normal for a trade site to show prices ex. VAT.

I ordered one of the class 101 DMU's cracking price of £99.99 plus postage at £3.99 the VAT was inclusive.

Plus a bonus SWMBO is still away for another 2weeks no problem of getting it in the house so it's a win win situation.

Cheers

The 3F and 4F vanished rapidly this morning, they were down to 3 and 6 items respectively when I put my order in, remarkable bargains at 50 quid each.

Just dropped £500 here, I missed much of it, but got Sence, a 101 and another EPB to convert to a class 504.

Thanks for the above, but I think you might be suffering from a case of post bargain stress disorder. It usually occurs in the aftermath of missing out on a bargain after said bargains have all been had, as in the case of MRD on Saturday. Symptoms include frantically refreshing the page in case more magically reappear, spending way too much time checking every other retailer in case there may be bargains there and constantly refreshing eBay in case any new items have been posted drastically underpriced.

Amazon have Hornby bow ended Collett coach for £28.14 again.  I just picked one up, other variants at higher prices.  As we know this offer often disappears quickly due to their algorithms so may revert to £40+ soon.

That 66 isn’t all that bad when you have it in the flesh.

This sale started a while back, see my post 1st August.

There was a lot more initially so if youve only just come across this sale you missed the party :-)

But still some tempting items, im tempted by a £60 coal tank
