Oddly enough I have cancelled mine with Amazon as realistically it was very much an impulse purchase. 1 still available supposedly

But it has pushed the price to £400.  I can't see the appeal myself at the price.

Aye I can only apologise for bumping the price up if indeed that is what it did.

It was one of those where I thought it was in fact a silly purchase having thought about it for a few hours.

C'est la vie.  Given there were only 100 of each, I'd suggest very few can see the attraction either :-)

Yeah, I think I probably did the same for the Q6, which has arrived less than fourteen hours after being ordered and I can indeed confirm that it is a Q6.

getting off topic now, so I shall shut up.

At this point if they cancel your orders again they could probably run afoul of trading standards. Refusing to sell once because an item was mis-priced is fine, but doing that repeatedly is a problem.

And sharing a bargain, of sorts, a Western Pullman for 780 GBP. Cheaper than any of the other retailers I could find it at within three pages of google searching http://www.burevalleymodels.com/p/11218/30-420---Western-Pullman---Ultima-Digital-Sound-Train-Set

No affiliation with them, but have regularly shared some of their gems and my father is a happy customer of theirs.

I’ve bit for an A4 again. They really have strange pricing policies. I’ll get irritated if they pull the same trick twice.

I already went for their one off eBay for £117 I didn't feel good about it but it was the cheapest at the time.

Anyhoo that Q6 is back down to £80

I also bit a second time....and they’ve cancelled it this morning. I won’t be trying a third time. I don’t understand how they can get it wrong twice!

Me too. I smell some kind of scam.

I’ve reported them to Trading Standards (though I don’t hold out much hope given how difficult they now like to make that to do)

More likely incompetence with a sprinkling of disingenuity for being 'out of stock' at £88 but strangely in stock at a higher price.

If they just owned up to a pricing mistake everyone would be happier.

Plus all the profits go to fully supporting/funding the railway.

I'd much rather support BVR than 365games who've hardly done themselves any favours !

Had to pop into Aldi at lunchtime and spotted some DAS 500g White modelling clay for £2.49. They had some Terracotta too, same price.

Amazon have it for £6 for 1kg (reduced from £6.99) so thought, yes, a bargain, but back at the computer I see that Hobby Craft have the 1kg at £4.00.

Suppose it depends which is closer to you, Hobbycraft or Aldi.
