RMweb Gold Tony Teague Posted July 24, 2019 RMweb Gold Share Posted July 24, 2019 I'd like to raise, what is to me, an important question! I recall the works of the late Rambling Syd Rumpo in which he frequently refers to "nadgers" - so my question is, what if any, relationship does nudging bear to nadgers, is the one the product of the other, or vice-versa? A subsidiary question might be, why do nadgers grow green? 2

Round here, we have fishcakes, which are fish and potato in a batter covering, and then we have Yorkshire fishcakes - which leave out the fish and are just crushed potato in batter. KNP
Sometimes, just sometimes, you have to bit the bullet to get that all illusive shot. Putting your nudging fears to the back of your mind we, the intrepid modeller, place our models and equipment at risk of forever being tarnished with the label of 'Canopy Nudger'. After getting a special license from the society I trod where few have feared to tread to get you, the reader, a picture from an unusual angle. This is one of those pictures And to obtain that picture. Warning Please look away now if you are of a nervous disposition The camera set up..... To further compound the situation in that not only is the camera close to the canopy but it is hanging upside down as well off the tripod I am pleased to say, so be rest assured, that no models, equipment or operator was injured or harmed in the taking of these pictures..... 3
RMweb Gold Mick Bonwick Posted July 27, 2019 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted July 27, 2019 But won't the photographs be upside down? Ah! I've just realised. You've taken them specifically for those readers who live in the southern hemisphere, haven't you? I'm not sure that this is the right thread for these posts, though, because there's no evidence of nudging having taken place. Should we start a thread for nudge-free topics, do you think?

They are indeed upside when I edit them but just for the British market I rotate them 180 degrees to comply with the T & C of this website. I have now learnt to be able to stand on head when photo editing these pictures through post focus merging process. This is what it looks like when going through that process As you can see, life is just a struggle.... 1

That second van in the train looks little nudged (a nudgette) though compared to the others. Andy Edited July 28, 2019 by SM42

Andy Well, at least one of you is observant. The body of this wagon is loose as it was originally going to be used on Long Walk Home cakebox challenge model then I found a more suitable one . The body was clipped back on but when I removed from storage I must have nudged it out of alignment. Did not spot it until after I had posted the pictures, amazing what you don’t see at the time isn’t it.
