Canopy Nudging

I'd like to raise, what is to me, an important question!

I recall the works of the late Rambling Syd Rumpo in which he frequently refers to "nadgers" - so my question is, what if any, relationship does nudging bear to nadgers, is the one the product of the other, or vice-versa?

A subsidiary question might be, why do nadgers grow green?

Mog?!!! I'll have you know that the chief nudger in my house is a cat of quality and can trace her ancestry back to Marie Antoinette's cats.

Backed up by that most reliable of sources, Wikipedia, so it must be true!

I don't believe a word our cats say

Especially as they are usually trying to persuade me that they haven't been fed EVER!!!

A fish cake? Laughable, nobody would ever make such a thing.

Oh wait...

Round here, we have fishcakes, which are fish and potato in a batter covering, and then we have Yorkshire fishcakes - which leave out the fish and are just crushed potato in batter.

I'll bet they're cheaper, too. ;)

Sometimes, just sometimes, you have to bit the bullet to get that all illusive shot.

Putting your nudging fears to the back of your mind we, the intrepid modeller, place our models and equipment at risk of forever being tarnished with the label of 'Canopy Nudger'.

After getting a special license from the society I trod where few have feared to tread to get you, the reader, a picture from an unusual angle.

This is one of those pictures

2159.jpg.56a4d781e454e3a3035575e6a8c5cd48.jpg

And to obtain that picture.

Warning

Please look away now if you are of a nervous disposition

The camera set up.....

To further compound the situation in that not only is the camera close to the canopy but it is hanging upside down as well off the tripod

I am pleased to say, so be rest assured, that no models, equipment or operator was injured or harmed in the taking of these pictures.....

But won't the photographs be upside down?

Ah! I've just realised. You've taken them specifically for those readers who live in the southern hemisphere, haven't you?

I'm not sure that this is the right thread for these posts, though, because there's no evidence of nudging having taken place. Should we start a thread for nudge-free topics, do you think?

They are indeed upside when I edit them but just for the British market I rotate them 180 degrees to comply with the T & C of this website.

I have now learnt to be able to stand on head when photo editing these pictures through post focus merging process.

This is what it looks like when going through that process

As you can see, life is just a struggle....

Ah, but the potential for nudging is scarily high, I think.

A. A spelling error.

B. Chlorophyll.

That second van in the train looks little nudged (a nudgette)  though compared to the others.

Well, at least one of you is observant. The body of this wagon is loose as it was originally going to be used on Long Walk Home cakebox challenge model then I found a more suitable one . The body was clipped back on but when I removed from storage I must have nudged it out of alignment.

Did not spot it until after I had posted the pictures, amazing what you don’t see at the time isn’t it.

A year's subscription to Nudger Weekly perhaps?

Andy (feeling smug)

You have.....

a framed and signed picture of Mr Bonwick Esq.

Oh no

Sorry, just turned around and knocked the lot on the floor?

Never mind,

I'll just take solace in the lottery win then.

Now where can I spend a fiver without it changing my life?
