Disgraceful behaviour by Hattons re. Rocket third-class open carriage pre-order.

I pre-ordered three Hornby Rocket third-class carriages almost immediately.

 

I received an e-mail from Hattons this morning notifying me that these items are due soon, but that my pre-order had been arbitrarily cut back to one number !

 

NOT GOOD.

Hornby strikes again - I'd really like to know if it is Hornby or the retailers at fault as it appears to be a repeating scenario, the main common factor appears to be it's Hornby models where this occurs most regularly.

I got the same email.  I think I had originally ordered two.  
 

Have to say that so far it hasn’t ruined my day in any way whatsoever.

And no one of has any idea where the problem lies - but are still willing to pile on here and slag people off. Before this turns into yet another witch-hunt, I'm locking the thread. If anyone comes up with some facts and evidence, I'll re-open it again.
