modfather
In the nicest possibly way, I'm totally uninterested in the competition, BUT I am going to enjoy the challenge! Nice one Andy
10800
Didn't know the locations but the jigsaws were great fun to do. Same here - at least all the pieces were the right orientation!
Edwin_m
Yep, fun jigsaws, thanks Andy. I happened to recognise one but haven't a clue about the other!
buffalo
Yep, fun jigsaws, thanks Andy. I happened to recognise one but haven't a clue about the other! Fun indeed! But there seems to be quite a few of us in this position, or maybe those who know both aren't saying anything...
northendboy
Gah!! Just finished the jigsaws (great fun, and a rather natty piece of software too) than stupidly gone onto page 2 to read the comments, then gone back to the first page and they, like myself, have gone to pieces again... Curse my stupidity! Mind you, I have absolutely no idea of the location of either. I checked out of my window, but neither rang a bell. Good fun, thanks Andy. Nortonian
I think the spire in the first print may offer a clue !. Kindest Ian
Andy Y
Up to this point there have been 3 correct answers, quite a few have got the first one - if you haven't a bit of research on a readily identifiable landmark may assist. The second one seems to be throwing most people.
Andy Y
6 correct answers now, a lot of people seem to be enjoying this one despite the pain!
RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted December 28, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 28, 2009 6 correct answers now, a lot of people seem to be enjoying this one despite the pain! Great fun Andy - once I got the hang of it (and found the second picture below the first one).
Flood
Really enjoying the jigsaws and I even know one of the locations but I won't be entering as I have no need for the prize (however nice it is).The quiz is still an excellent idea, many thanks Andy. D605Eagle
Thanks for that Andy! I love jigsaws! Pretty sure I was right on the first, but a blind guess on the second! Cheers Jim

edcayton
NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!! Did them both, turned the page, and when I turned back they had undone themselves again! I also reckon I know the first but not the second. What am I like, doing train jigsaws on the computer at three in the morning! I should be looking at porn like any normal bloke! Good night all, Ed
RMweb Gold Oldddudders Posted December 28, 2009 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 28, 2009 Another vote for the jigsaws as being excellent fun - very clever! I went to bed before finishing the second one - but will be well pleased to have such entertainment on here at any time, thankyou.
Andy Y
There's still just 6 completely correct answers on the board. I can offer a clue in that the second picture isn't too far from the first and is only a couple of years old.
great central
Don't normally 'do' jigsaws but this is a new slant, it sure helps to know all the bits are the right way up to start with Figured the first one without finishing it, took a 'best guess' at the second and got it right B) . I'm on lates all week so will be doing the rest after work, good luck everyone.

Andy Y
Well the last of the points have just gone. So, the answers. Puzzle 1 was Chesterfield as shown in Coachmann's Gallery - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=7405 Puzzle 2 seemed to catch more people out, it was Barrow Hill in 2007 as shown in twa_dog's Gallery - http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?app=gallery&module=images§ion=viewimage&img=10234 - a beautiful image. And the results, well done to Jonathan Wealleans for Day 1. More to come tonight.
