RMweb Gold Mikkel Posted December 22, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 22, 2012 <p><em>Not </em>expecting you to look at this now Andy - but for the record: Photos in individual blog entries in my blog are not showing.</p> <p> </p> <p>Oddly, they appear fine on the blog's main page, but not in the individual entries.</p> <p> </p> <p>At first I thought it was a problem with externally hosted pics, but apparently also RMweb hosted images, eg in this entry: <a href="http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/75/entry-649-backdated-montys-figures/">http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/75/entry-649-backdated-montys-figures/</a></p> <p> </p> <p>Embedded Youtube also not showing: <a href="http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/75/entry-8235-painting-coach-panels/">http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/75/entry-8235-painting-coach-panels/</a></p> <p> </p> <p>- but on some other blogs is seems fine: <a href="http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/172/entry-10749-i-dont-fancy-your-chances-in-the-tour-de-france/">http://www.rmweb.co.uk/community/index.php?/blog/172/entry-10749-i-dont-fancy-your-chances-in-the-tour-de-france/</a></p> <p> </p> <p>* It seems the img tags are stripped when a blog entry is opened?</p> <p>* Tried adding new photos. Doesn't work any other way except by attachment.</p> <p>* Text cant be edited in code as before</p> <p> </p> <p>But no hurry, you deserve a christmas break :-)</p>

Yeah, seems to be the same problem I'm having in the blogs (see post above). Come to think of it, I think we've had this happen before, at another software update. RMweb Gold The Stationmaster Posted December 23, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 23, 2012 The problem I now seem to have is while my posts go into threads they do not show up in the form listing r does the thread move to the new 'time of last post' - very odd. Andy Y
I can see your posts showing up at the appropriate point in VNC Mike. I recall this happening once before and a cookie clearout (on users' machines) resolved it IIRC.

I recall this happening once before and a cookie clearout (on users' machines) resolved it IIRC. Indeed so Andy - I've emptied the cache (do that every day anyway), signed out of RMweb (and back in of course), and done a non-nuclear Safari reset. The odd thing is that it is now happening with some posts but not with others - weird. And I'm still getting threads I've read no changing to feint. It will, hopefully, settle eventually. PS This post immediately went to the correct place and is showing in feint.

Kenton
Testing Reply to this box (not the full "reply quoting" editor) with simple white space lines between used to work ok but doesn't now it is clearing out the white space and packing everything in one single line. have done a history clear - in Firefox - no change
Kenton
And this is still what I get using the "replying to/quote this" editor <br /><br /> If they have tried to fix the problem with the old editor all they have done is made it far, far worse. <br /><br /> I think they should roll back to the previous working version - and go away and play among themselves and test their useless upgrade before foisting it on a busy working forum. RMweb Gold Revolution Ben Posted December 23, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 23, 2012 I've tried the cache clearing but still can't seem to upload more than one image without the upload button disappearing, and prewritten text vanishing too. cheers Ben A.
