RMweb Gold Accurascale Fran Posted December 30, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 30, 2012 I really love this new variation of GBRF livery (I found the original quite uninspiring) and Bachmann have done a lovely job of reproducing it - But am I the only one thinking the Bachmann model is starting to look its age? - that join across the cabfront, and the plastic handrails.... Jon They're missing quite a bit of detail along the solebar and bogies too. The body itself is fine, maybe it could do with a warmover, rather than complete retool? martin_l_jones
Agree, always worth a re-look, minor tweek in this case, I think it's one of the best models on the market... My 66731 arrived today and looks superb...pleased to say no fault evident on the roof grill..
43179
Interesting to compare the Bachmann 66 with the Mehano HO version , (Thats roughly the same age as the Bachmann model) Jon
