RMweb Premium keefer Posted November 1, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted November 1, 2018 (edited) TDB968008 used as a carriage heating unit. The red squares are some sort of warning notice and there was a small alarm light mounted on the roof, just behind the no.1 end radiator grille. http://www.railphotoarchive.org/rpc_zoom.php?img=0696020565016 https://www.flickr.com/photos/59835095@N02/6263527518/sizes/l Edited to provide a better photo c/o BrushVeteran's Flickr Edited November 1, 2018 by keefer

Surely a long way away from Colas's main core of business.... What traffic flows apart from the cement to Moorswater (if that's still running) do they have down here.... Is it a regular occurrence ? Good to see the yard being used though.... Cheers Bill

Ray M
Just a reminder to all. that there will be 2 DRS class 37`s hitting Paignton on Sat 25th & maybe a 57 on the back. that should block the main crossing gates up for a while. I will be their somewhere, well in the pubs that is, and i will be mostly drinking beer. And probably carrying a mucky kebab or pizza back to the train. Ho i do love these days out. Brian That said, the coaching stock was (mostly) cleaned to a very high standard, as I think you see in Garry's photos. It was very strange seeing an air-con Mk2 rake in blue-grey with an interposed Mk1 restaurant car again after all these years. ((I'm tactfully ignoring the generator coach and the strengthening coaches at the other end of the rake!)
