RBE
Sounds like a plausable working to me Marcus! I'll have to remember that when I forget to empty the rake at exhibitions!!
Grimleygrid
Nice Grid Cav, it is hard to believe that it is N gauge. Saw Burton on Trent in the flesh yesterday and it really is coming on, looks very good already so will be superb once finished.
RBE
Cheers Alex, I do really need to hit it big time now though as I have 5 months to get it done!!
Bomp
Cheers Alex, I do really need to hit it big time now though as I have 5 months to get it done!! Yes you do. I keep coming back to this to see more of my home town. Somehow the model catches what photos and video alone can't.
RBE
Cheers Bomp. I am planning to hit this project big over the next few weeks. To start here is the beginning of the station building after last nights work! Still a bit to do on it yet but certainly starting to portray the real thing I think.
Marcus 37
Now that looks strangely familiar. You just need a chubby GBRf driver stood out side by the timetables waiting for his taxi home. HaHa. Looks superb mate.
Andrew P
Looking very good Cav, just needs loads of litter and filth all over the floor to look like BOT now.
cornish trains jez
Coming along nicely matey.

RBE
Well as I haven't had any time to model lately I have jumped back onto the station building tonight. Added all of the window frames and recreated the taxi office window. Probably wasn't like that in 1992 but it looks good so went for it.

87023Velocity
Hi Cav, That building is looking very smart. It will be good to see in position on BoT. Cheers Simon
RBE
Yes its a step nearer to completing the station end. It will be nice to see that done. Once in place the rest should motor along.
RBE
Nearing the finish line with the station building now. Just a few bits and bobs like the phone box and parking meter to add, oh and the canopy over the shop I mustn't forget that! Then it's onto the carpark itself and overbridge which is almost finished and ready for painting and finishing.

RBE
I know yes. Need to crack on. I might see if I can get the station carpark/bridge done later as far as the painting stage.
RBE
Couple more pics after adding a few more details to the building. These views show it in place on the bridge/carpark.

RBE
A quick pic of a not uncommon conversion. A new farish BSK to NNX courier. Still a tiny grill to add to one of the blanked windows and a patch paint job to match the blue grey but pleased so far. I've also made a start on painting the station overbridge brickwork but cant get a good pic in this light. I'll post one when I can get a decent pic!
RBE
Ok pics of the brickwork I started last night. Still needs work but heading the right direction for the old dirty urban brickwork seen on the real thing. The plan is to add some patchy mortar lines and then tie it all together with some powders and foliage. It'll then be the car park surface and pavements. cornish trains jez
Hi Cav, Looks proper good matey. Looking forward to seeing it in position on the layout. It's difficult to get really good looking brick work In N but you have nailed it there. Best regards, Jeremy
