LNERGE
I was stuck testing points on the MML otherwise i'd have been about to see these. Ho Hum.
Dr Gerbil-Fritters
Is that one of the Fertis jobs, the ones being reconditioned at Leicester? There's some good looking kit there, not seen so many locomotives in Leicester in years. There was even an 86 the other day.

JeffP
All over grey? Wasn't that the original engineers' livery, before they added the horrid mustard coloured stripe? It was quite classy then.

Looks like it, but the big slab of unbroken grey looks very drab and really does need a large BR double arrow to break it up.
Classsix T
You buy 'em, you pay for 'em, you can have whatever colour you want on 'em...the UKRL Grids are spot hire traction, the end customers possibly wouldn't appreciate an homage to Isle of Wight dinosaur livery or anything else for that matter. Varnished undercoat and yellow is fine, as long as it's running, in my book! C6T.
Bert Cheese
Both looking good, the last time I saw 56104 was at the Mid Hants gala in May 2003...carrying railfreight coal livery at the time. It seems an awfully long time ago now...
RMweb Gold Ramblin Rich Posted June 22, 2015 RMweb Gold Share Posted June 22, 2015 Strange that it's classed as" Dereham UKF" - when that company name hasn't been used since about 1990....
