Beet Traffic got new wagons to try out, they were old shipping containers with the roof removed and a side hatch added.  They were placed on 42’ flat bogie wagons and were planned to replace the double sided wagons.  Unfortunately, the beet subsidy was withdrawn and the beet industry collapsed.
