Got  a new speaker for Bachmann class 37 514 a single 4 ohm this time

It fitted nice into the space under the roof fan then soldiered it onto the pcb

 

Also did some work to the farm so the stables fit in

Using a paint scraper i removed the grass then using metcalfe kits tarmac sheets cut to size i made the base area and path up to them.

then adding a bit of scatter its starting to look the part . Still work to do and weather in

Morning Simon the speaker is from peters spares just had a quick look and there off sale but i believe they come from dcc supplies

Having some time last night i started to tidy up the large logo 37 body i removed from my sound loco i have put the nose ends back on and sanded were the knife marks were . It will need a paint touch up or some very heavy weathering to cover up the marks . Then using t-cut i rubbed of the large numbers nameplate and highland stag from the shell

Thanks Simon i remember the welsh 37/4 far more at crewe i never really saw blue scottish 37/4  so will be more happy with this number 

heres a photo of the other side

I've even seen a picture of one on a Sprinter replacement service on the North Staffs, they did seem to spread their wings

Very nice. I did a model of 37431 myself. 

I have also asked railtec models about the possibility of doing the Sir Powys/County of Powis council crest that is on the left hand end of both sides of the logo under the red dragon. This first appeared in late 87 or 1988.
