Don't go giving them ideas.  The trauma induced by the sight probably wouldn't have worn off by the following year's show.

Adrian

Well, they didn't take a picture of you or me so they missed a trick there I think.

And today you have another picture from the so called internet influencer.

Here is one of my Panniers waiting for the signal to clear so they can proceed.

Jimmy and the Porter are chatting about life generally now they are in the glare of the internet!

I suppose now if I post this you will all rush out and buy another Pannier?

Your modelling skills certainly influences us and I agree about never having too many GWR pannier tanks.

What Chris said.

Influenced to improve my modelling.

I also have the same attitude to panniers as to ancient motorcycles.

The ideal number is that which you already have, plus one.

I don't think that they could afford my appearance fee, apart from which, I declined the offer of a free copy.

I'm obviously more mercenary than you, because I took a free copy anyway. Perhaps they spotted my name badge and decided "we don't want any of that there here".

Always amazes me that the GWR did not rename Edward VIII after the abdication.

I suppose he was crowned a King even if it was only for a few months!

And the Colonel still fishing, still waiting for that first catch of the day.

Not surprising considering the state of that stream - any fish won't see the bait through all the mud.

Nothing that can't be fixed with a bit of clear plastic, I used bits of Ratio kit packaging on my 2251, the originals were horrible and about a scale 6 inches thick anyway, this was my first attempt at flush glazing.

Excuse the dust!

Kevin,

A question from an aging British modelling novice trying to get started on a British outline OO layout while stuck in the USA.  I'm using Little Muddle as a inspirational resource.  I'm pretty clueless about how a track layout is designed and assembled. I read way back in this thread that your track is Peco code 75.  You also commented that you removed spring housings from points.  Am I correct in assuming the points were standard/purchased Peco products before you modified them?  Or did you build your points and slips yourself to fit your layout (or have them made for you)?

Best regards!

Thanks

It is my intention, one day to fit glazing to quite a few locos where the glazing has been removed but at the moment it hasn't happen.....keep moving onto other projects.

But I do agree that the supplied glazing looked like Mr Magoo glasses....

Another picture of 9319 but with a slight difference one is all in focus and last one has the background out of focus thereby concentrating on the loco

I know which one I like......?

I prefer all in focus Kevin. I find the out of focus background a bit of a distraction. Presumably you have used some of your clever programmes to get all in focus? I've just posted one this morning where I managed to get the background sharp, but the front of the loco not, which I'm not happy with, but out of focus backgrounds and shopping lattice signals is not a good idea.
