RMweb Premium newbryford Posted June 5, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 5, 2018 Peruvian blue Metre gauge Alco 356 arrives at Ollantaytambo in March 2015, having climbed about 2500 feet from Aguas Calientes over the previous two hours. (Ollantaytambo is about 9100 feet ASL) How about something high/tall or otherwise larger than "normal" next? Cheers, Mick

RMweb Premium 45156 Posted June 6, 2018 RMweb Premium Share Posted June 6, 2018 Hey Owd Bob - how the hell do we top that one - it ranks as one of the best avant garde photos I've seen here or anywhere else - Colin T Gifford, eat your heart out. I can't follow that with anything in my meagre collection of images.

Owd Bob
Hey Owd Bob - how the hell do we top that one - it ranks as one of the best avant garde photos I've seen here or anywhere else - Colin T Gifford, eat your heart out. I can't follow that with anything in my meagre collection of images. Thanks 45156, i don't know owt about 'avante garde' but my Dad always said i took some weird pics' It's not a very good scan/copy and i do have a couple of pics' taken from the very same spot with a slightly differing angle that are a bit better, i can't say i planned them as it was really dark down between the big long line of rivets!

Liam
Not the best of shots, but here's a ScotRail 158 passing Loch Strome in August 2016. I think that water is your friend in this area, as you'd probably get better shots from a kayak out on the loch than from the road.
