RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted October 6, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 6, 2017 (edited) Why not? A small portion of a harbourside line somewhere in Somerset in the 1950's..... Little used, bit dog eared but full of character........the layout, not me. It will all be in the detail and I see this as an opportunity to try new things..... Something like the below........with a marine feel to it. Rob. Edited October 8, 2017 by nhy581

RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 9, 2017 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2017 (edited) Incidentally Rob; what's a bason? I would assume that the name is connected to the Somerset village of Basin Bridge. Edited October 9, 2017 by Captain Kernow
RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted October 9, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 9, 2017 Indeed, CK. Bason comes from Bason Bridge. I just think the competition lends itself to a diorama type of malarky with the emphasis on detail...

DonB
Sheep don't like leeks (the vegetable!) ... Some years ago, we had sheep in our garden from neighbouring field. They ate every thing they could reach Except my row of leeks, even the Herb garden was cleared including the mint!!

That was most accommodating of you, Don, but I trust that they settled their bill before they left the restaurant. Perhaps a decent tip for the waiter? RMweb Gold NHY 581 Posted October 15, 2017 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted October 15, 2017 Feeling Marines? There is a difference......having a marine feel and feeling marine.......both carry a significant risk....of something..
