Gave up with DCC if I'm honest. The 009 layouts are all analogue, so the DCC system is something I'm keen to get rid of.

Which Lenz system is it? Might help buyers if you specified it…

Regarding the next layout.... here is a sneak of the theme..... ;)

Technically, that’s two themes. Not just different track gauge, but different loading gauges, too!

Giving full information is also known as advertising, I.e. making potential customers know what it is you have for sale.

I’m not bothered, but if Tom wants to make the best of the opportunity, he can’t rely on people scrolling back a few days.

Fair enough.

Apologies for being unclear.

It's a Lenz 100 system (with controller) and external transformer: Price £200

Morning all!

Quick update.

Sadly the sale of Cwm Prysor has fallen through, so the layout is available for purchase.

Yes that’s the plan, if there is enough interest.
Tom did ask if I would continue posting.

I for one would be more than interested. Let’s see some pics asap.

Cheers

Ade

I’ll fourth (?) Ade. I’m also intrigued to know if you intend to keep it in its current era or back date it to GWR or even update it to BR Blue - I always liked Tom’s photos of Blue Diesels on it…

The layout will be kept in its current era, as I acquired some stock from Tom. I like modelling the 1950’s anyway.

There is a chapter about the flooding of the valley to make the reservoir in 'Shadowlands' by Matthew Green. (I bought it because there is also a chapter about Dunwich in Suffolk, which I was about to visit, but I thoroughly enjoyed the whole book.)
