ColinH
For those of you with a long memory you may recall that 12 months ago we had to put a notice out regarding price of admission as a publication had made a diary entry that was completely incorrect. We thought we had cleared this up for our next show and in fact the publication in question has got it correct. However, another non modelling publication from the same publishing group has put up a diary entry not having received anything from us. The wording is almost the same as last year but there are mistakes in it regarding admission price and our website address. So, if any of you happen to read Railway Magazine be advised that the admission price to the show is £10 and not £2.50! The joys of being an Exhibition Manager.. I used that link in three browsers and it is not showing any information on the exhibition, it is showing a lot of background errors. The 'exhibition' link only brings up info on the bus service. Bonafide
EXHIBITION UPDATE The bus service operates from Stafford Railway Exhibition to the exhibition. This reminds me of the old joke of a person asking for a Cheap Day Return, and when asked, "Where to?", the person replies, "Back here, of course!"

I was putting it up last night and managed to hit the signal box with the other half of the layout. I've got until 2nd February to get it fixed so plenty of time.... Andy Y
It looks to be a really good line-up this year; well done Colin, Terry and team. Pete Latham's 'Wormhill' will be in March BRM which is out a couple of days before the show (we do try and help time things!) which is a cracking Peak Forest-ish scene.
Andy Y
There's an Isle of Wight theme in there including the club's own Freshwater (EM) layout. The best way to get to the island is via Portsea (TT) Nothing to do with IoW stuff but BRM April issue will feature Todmorden Midland which Ed Purcell is showing at Stafford too.
Chris M
Ed has created something a bit special in N with Todmorden Midland. I hear rumours of an extension, but not yet. Edited January 18, 2019 by Chris M
