richscylla
I assume "We are making plans for a Government enforced 5-6 week despatch operation shutdown We are acting as if this will commence on Thursday 26th March" means that no shop will be able to mail order anything! RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted March 23, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted March 23, 2020 Yes, I saw that. It doesn't seem to make much sense in terms of enforcing social distancing, does it?

Yes, that's true, but the staff are working on mail order stuff, with the usual precautions, of course. The Guildford shop is apparently still open, but one customer under the roof at any one time, as I understand it.

But it does allow the limited and probably reduced capacity delivery network to prioritise more important deliveries. On that note, 120 nerf bullets arrived today. G-BOAF
Whole load of new Bachmann locos and rolling stock in stock at Hattons. Have they patched up their relationship now? Edited May 10, 2020 by G-BOAF
Guest Half-full
Looks more like a transfer of another shops stock, discussed on the Hattons (manufacturer) thread the other day
RMweb Gold Kaput Posted May 10, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 10, 2020 If by some miracle they did patch up their relationship I'm 99% sure both parties would at least make a press release of some sort advertising it.

IME, Hattons at least kept it pretty damned quiet when things first went ning-nang-nong. I doubt that either side would make a big song-and-dance about them admitting there was a bust-up. I suspect, as stated elsewhere, that this is stock from (an)other source(s).
