I’ll raise the point on the Jerrycan! It’s good that it’s optional. Most will be disarmed but a few may want to ‘deploy’ them ;)
Flagman
These look fantastic, I would certainly want some and I'm sure plenty of others would too.
KDG
Great looking renders there Gareth, really pleased you've done the Sultans and Samaritans. Can I suggest you figure out a way that folk can assemble them with wing mirrors folded in for transport, or out for road marches etc. I'm sure when the military modellers pick up on these you'll have many more sales too. KDG
I see Trains4u have now added Scimitar, Scorpion, Sabre and Shielder to their CVR(T) range of vehicles. 1

RMweb Premium Steven B Posted December 8, 2023 RMweb Premium Share Posted December 8, 2023 @Trains4U are you still planning on scaling these down to N? I'd like to swap my PG Models pewter Warriors and CVR(T)s with something my locos can haul... Steven B

They had some at Warley, although I only bought some OO ones for my Cavalex warflats and my imminent purchase of some of the new Hattons Warwells. Cheers Neal.

Trains4U
We will get them listed over the weekend hopefully! we have several variants of the Warrior including the recovery vehicles and TES armoured versions for the wargamers the cradles are £6.50 each (OO) or for 2 in N these will go nicely with our exclusive Warwells we are getting from Hatton’s! Gypsy
They look brilliant - but if I can be VERY picky the up-armoured Warriors have the wrong drivers hatch - they've got the earlier type with only one periscope instead of the later with three...
Trains4U
Easily adjusted we haven’t started producing them yet
Matt
Very nice… I placed an order for some of your other goodies last night but will be adding these when they’re ready. I have to keep buying more warflats and warwells for them to go on…. It almost seems like a cunning plan on your part? 1
Gypsy
15 hours ago, Trains4U said: Easily adjusted we haven’t started producing them yet From memory they came in some time in the mid 90s. The ones I worked along side on the last UN tour of Bosnia certainly had them - that was 1995/6. The REME and RA wagons also got them - though I'm not sure whether it was the same time. Edit - on checking I've got a pic of a FOO truck that hit an anti-tank mine and lost a chunk of its Chobham side armour and that has the new drivers hatch. That was Jan 1996. The driver broke his foot but he was the only casualty. Good wagons to be in in that sort of situation. Certainly better than a Land Rover!
