I do like the Pontnewynydd van Brian. Can I make an observation on your handrails please? Try cutting the wire on a purpose made cutting jig. Like you, I had a problem stripping wire on a complicated job. No matter what I did, the wire curled everywhere. I ended up making a clamp to size, so the main body of the wire was held a true 90 degrees to the cut, aand I used a fine slitting saw. It worked a treat, so much so, a 'mate' borrowed it for an unrelated job, and I never saw it again.... Grrrr.
