RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted May 3, 2020 RMweb Gold Share Posted May 3, 2020 I am in the process of applying transfers to a batch of cattle vans in post 34 livery. looking at photos the numbers should be the same size as the small plank (circa 1.5mm) matching the GW numbers. The HMRS sheet only has 1.9 mm or 0.8 mm numbers, does anyone do a sheet of numbers the right size for the cattle vans (with bonus points for preset numbers)? Ive done one using the small numbers (and have another to do in the large logo livery working from a photo of a different diagram in the 4mm wagon book), but want something better on the next batch. I’ve had a look on Fox’s website without luck, not is it in Railtec’s range

RMweb Gold The Fatadder Posted May 5, 2020 Author RMweb Gold Share Posted May 5, 2020 answering my own question, the HMRS LMS wagons transfer sheet is a lot more useful for numbers than the GW sheet having an in between size which is perfect for cattle wagons (and looks a closer match for wartime wagon builds as well)

I think the plates are Jackson Evans. Jason
