For which reason it sounds like rather a good idea to me, if it means the MAFF can build a mailing list to contact people instantly if avian flu cases are confirmed within a given radius of their birds. I remember the concerns my sister had when the last outbreak came within 15 miles of her TWO hens. Similarly I always thought the removal of the dog licence was a mistake, if only so some bloke with two bull terriers who's previously been witnessed driving away from a dogfight, can be disqualified from owning anything more than a goldfish. 1 11

Talking of which I was puzzled to note the 10.00 Padd - Bristol yesterday arrived and departed Reading on diesel. The preceding Hereford was on electric, as was our succeeding Penzance. Puzzling. Talking of which, it was the first time I've been on a train that missed Taunton as a stop. Fast Reading - Exeter is rather fun! Having been back and forth 'twixt France and UK rather a lot so far this year, a broken tooth has had to soldier on, as I didn't have time to see my dentist. Yesterday, while on the aforementioned train, another large lump came away, leaving not much, really. Being a bit concerned that infection might set in rather fast, Sherry has arranged for me to have it inspected today, with a view to treatment on Friday. The dentist is Eduardo, who played Captain Bertorelli in 'Allo, 'Allo in 2022, when I was Leclerc. As he is a private dentist, I may have to sell a kidney to pay for the repaired tooth....

Is there a small apperture at the rear for the tail so that you have a ready made propellor in the DD version. Only problem with radii and cheap Government software is what if there's a 3 mile wide river estuary between the outbreak and you, and its about 50 miles by road to the infected site? Apparently supermarkets use the same software, local Aldi shops ended up with Welsh Christmas signage one year.... ION Almost didn't arrive back safely from scavenging. A bluddy LEMMING pulled out of a side road in front of me, didn't even look in my direction when I hooted at him. Deaf as well as blind, I suppose. Hence the common practice of charting mine workings (ie, constructing drawings as though navigating a vessel by Ded. Reckoning) rather than plotting using calculated coordinates. Also the practice of using fathoms, rather than feet or yards as a unit of distance. Hence the references to constructing closed traverses and "tieing in" by which such discrepancies would be detected and resolved. Ships at sea would navigate between fixed points, or carry out checks by astral navigation, and when sailing ships met at sea the masters would compare their respective "workings" The issue of locating old mine workings remains to this day. A Welsh "small mine" * suffered a similar tragedy a few years ago. *Gliesion, 2014 Edited May 15 by rockershovel 1 1 12
