Yep. Relatives warned - no one to get Married that weekend . I haven't been daft enough to book a holiday straddling the weekend like I did last year , so hopefully this year I'll get to attend.

I'm hoping Scotrail will be running an HST on the Aberdeen service , knowing my luck it'll be a Turbostar  and I'll do Glasgow - Perth on a good old Mk3

Glad this is on this year not been to a show since before covid and this is my favourite, just out of hospital (PRI ironically) so hope to be fit to attend.

Don't worry with our new two day tickets you can make up for lost time!

Looking forward as always to making the trip North to the show. Always a great show with a very welcoming organising team and club members, Who will be pleased to know that this year the layout is a little bit smaller than last years so help won't be needed for unloading!!  😃

Happy to confirm that NGS Forth & Clyde Area Group will be providing a stand at the show.

It;s still to be decided what the demo's will be.

Scenics/buildings a possible subject. Also kit built rolling stock from the NGS kit range plus Coach building with etched brass.

Might well have some 3D printed stuff on the stand - depends on it being delivered on schedule!

Just over a week to go until Perth Model Railway Exhibition.

A wee taster of one of the 40 layouts which will be on show to inspire visitors.

Kilbowie by Greenock MRCKilbowie is based on the old Glasgow Central low-level line in Clydebank. It will be displaying green and blue diesel stock. The frontage features the Forth and Clyde Canal at Kilbowie Swing Bridge with the Singer factory on the right.

We are taking two layouts to our show this summer.  Neither have been seen at Perth before.

Both are set on the Western side of North America.

Calafountain our new N Gauge features more trees than you can shake a stick at! A river, a family of bears and long freight trains.

Looking forward to bringing another slice of Galloway to Perth in the form of Garlieston - in a much more complete state than last year. We'll be a part of the Scalefour Enclave..

Attached photos snapped at the Glasgow show.

Hi.

Can the organisers clarify if there are now parking charges at the Dewars Centre when the exhibition is on?  Their website suggest that there might be:

https://www.liveactive.co.uk/Venues/dewars-centre

On Saturday parking charges will apply.

Car Parking Charges: 15 Mins / Drop Off: Free

Up to 2 hours - 30p

Up to 4 hours - 50p

Up to 6 hours - £7.00

Up to 10 hours - £12.00

If visitors expect to be there for more than 4 hours they may want to consider the park and ride at Broxden or Scone.  The Broxden Park and Ride passes the Dewars Centte.

There are no parking charges on the Sunday.

Want to say a massive thank you and congratulations to the organisers and exhibitors for another excellent Perth show today. Hats off to all for keeping going in the heat! Kilbowie was my personal fave, but a close second was the fascinating Shuri Koya. Always good to see something completely different for new inspiration.

Well worth the trip and the money.

Cheers,
