Pontefract show has become a great opener to the new year. I hope to be there on the Saturday.

It is always a good show and the line up of layouts this year certainly looks to be worth coming to see.

Collected more of the stock for Chapel.

I will mainly be weathering some O gauge wagons.. but anyone can fetch something to have a go at weathering.. I will have some try it pieces for anyone who wants to get into weathering as well.

Well we are just a few days away from the show, unfortunately we are disappointed to announce G M Books will not be able to make this years show due to an operation last week, we wish George a speedy recovery and look forward to seeing him at next years show.

Replacing George will be Ron's Totems, this is a first time visit to Pontefract and we wish him well and thank you for stepping in at nearly the last minute.

Also a note to all exhibitors and traders, the college has an inset day on Friday 26th, this means we have access to the hall sooner than originally anticipated which means setting up times can be brought forward to 3:30pm to hopefully 8:30pm, resulting in getting to the pub sooner than later, sorry I mean bed for a busy weekend.

Looking forward to seeing everyone there and hopefully we will get to meet a good few RM webbers at the show.

Thanks,

Richard.

There will be a good turnout from our little gang. Two are in the show and at least five of us are coming as visitors.

Looking forward to it.

Parking is what it is. The best place is in the park with over 200 spaces once the early morning park run is done. Please be aware that the “ Aspire” parking next to the new sports centre/ baths might not be free. If you follow the road inside the park using the “grandstand” signs there are an additional 100+ spaces by the Huggamug cafe. This is not more than 300 metres from the college entrance.
