Coatbridge rides again

Our class 90 has undergone another refit a bit of a rewire and a new decoder seems to have cured the problems.

The Chassis has had a repaint and weather.

Is Ingatestone Station still basically as was since the fifties? The crossing gate keeper at Margaretting used to drink in The Star on the High Street, as did I.

Best, Pete.

Hi Pete

I have thousands of pics taken at Ingatestone.....but none of the station :-(

But don't worry I cycle past it nearly every day so I will take some.

While looking just found these dan

And I think I mentioned both the crossing keeper and The Star somewhere else way back in this thread. The combination of long threads and getting old.......

Cheers, Pete.

Thanks, Alan! Good to see that distinctive brickwork and the windows still look the same...

I’ve been following the “Washout at Dawlish” thread and the one to do with the Webcam there. What a pity there is no webcam at Ingatestone! It would be SO much more interesting........But not so many “fanboys” on the ex-GER, alas....

Best, Pete.

Not fancy setting up a camera for us Alan? ;) It would be missing 86s on mk2s but 90s on mk3s are almost as good. (looking at your pictures, i still need to get more Maersk boxes for my 'plan'. Keep them coming, they're good images)

Hi Chris

The maritime was done by Mick lawrence the Freightliner by me.

The Decals for the Maritime were made by Ben, Micks young neighbour who has grown up a bit and discovered Girls so doesnt do much with the printer anymore( but we can ask)

The trailers are scratchbuilt.

Email me at alan@warrenlane.co.uk  and I will see what Ive got. quite happy to build Trailers for people :-)

Alan

Hi Alan,
