RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted July 24, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted July 24, 2014 That was a nice line up picture of the three classes. I like the yard shots as well the crane in the last shot looks really bright in the sunshine. Almost looks new. Good selection of containers in there as well. Have you noticed any change in traffic levels since the new thamesport facility has started operation?
Satan's Goldfish
Damn that looks a lot quieter since the new terminal opened.

mcedge
Hi Wareen Lane What a fantastic layout you have. I really like the look of your OLE… (and your cranes of course). May I ask a couple of questions. 1) I assume the OLE is custom built. Can you recall what materials you used? Im doing some heavy research before building mine as it needs to look top dollar an not mangled string! 2) How do you accommodate for the gaps in the baseboard and splitting your OLE, as I cannot see any breaks in it! Cheers Dan
Danielson's shay no 3
Powerhaul class 66 looks better with new black valances instead of the grey

Cheers Dan Hi Dan The Catenary uses different materials The lattice type is 1mm brass angle with .5mm cross members This bit was damaged after a show but its a nice close up off construction The plane masts are made from H section brass The contact wire is .4 nickle silver The next time Warren Lane comes out of storage I will take some pictures of the Masts and connections for you. Swifty11
Yes it is indeed and 312 Drs say they are keeping the Peter Henderson nameplate on it Funnily enough im mates with a DRS traincrew, 57303 should be next out in DRS, 57301 is somewhere believed in the shed It probably could keep the name as DRS need to think of names for them! Danielson's shay no 3
GBRf have bought 59003 it comes into the country in 2 weeks time that's really god to see a 59 in GBRf livery
RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted August 12, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2014 Will be cool to see another class 59 plus to see one in gbrf livery will be excellent. Wonder if they'll keep with the same livery design as their
Satan's Goldfish
It'd be like a game of 'where's wally' if they make the livery exactly the same as the 66. What heavy weight services do gbrf run? Off the top of my head I imagine the North Walsham to Harwich condensate tankers aren't light.
RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted August 12, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2014 Double headlight at front would aid identification. Dan was mentioning about westcountry to midland aggregate flow
Satan's Goldfish
Good call, I'd forgotten the 59/0 head lights were different to the rest. I'm sure there will be a thread on it somewhere around here, but do we know when it's back?
RMweb Premium GWRPhil Posted August 12, 2014 RMweb Premium Share Posted August 12, 2014 Dans info says about two weeks. I'll try and keep my eye on dollandz moor as much as I can to see if I can see it come in
Wild Boar Fell
Er, think elsewhere its been said its the 59 is for DRS not GBRF, so I would imagine some sort of 68 style compass livery? Regards, Wild Boar Fell
