And if you can manage to look that far the loco has modern ohle warning 'flashes' and a little red plaque of some sort of the left hand mainframe extension plus a nameplate it never carried in BR service and airbrake connections. The skirts might well look late 1960s but the loco very definitely does notwink.gif

 

Didn't notice those. Must have been distracted, can't think why.

 

I still think Carlisle though - has the OHL been bleached out in the photo? Or perhaps it is Shrewsbury.

Dunno why, Bristol seems to be on my mind...,.

 

Though maybe the shedplate is the real clue!

If it really had been the '60s though, the loco would have had a three o'clock to iron by the time ladies were sartorially equipped thus! :P
