New arrival at Redbrook..

Later the pair were captured leaving the station heading East to Bristol.

I've also sold a few things to get some much needed cash!

Cheers

Thanks Ian,

I've just sold some stock that doesn't fit the era and some specialist stock that has limited play value.

Might thin down some of the 37's too, just have to see how it goes..

I've been having some work done at the house and the baby is fast approaching so I've had to re-arrange my priorities slightly..

Thanks Graham,

During the night I'm sure I've been dreaming about layouts..  One of which included increasing the mail capacity, that would mean more red locos and stock...

In fact my head is full of ideas for changing the layout. Just trying to fight it all!

Cheers

Scott

The problem I have with such places is that I don't have any passenger stock and the thought of getting several sets of hst's etc doesn't seem appealing.  Maybe Parkway but only commuting traffic like 153's and 158's...

Evening,

Well you're never going to believe this but I've actually managed to get an hour in the garage!

During that time I think I've realised whats bugging me about the layout, and it goes back to my age old issue of the backscene.

I think I need to spend time on it and build some proper structures rather than card ones with printed sides. But I'll save that for another day.

To keep me interested tonight I have sacrificed one of my freight sidings and am now using it for a minor exam shed, basically the top up of fluids and fuel etc....  Its not fully in place yet, still need to do the scenic's around it and add a sign or two.

It's the late 90's and a couple of Mainline liveried locos are hanging around. The 37 has just arrived to have its levels checked before an early morning steel run to Beresford Junction.

Graham,

You are correct. but after tonights little session I think the station will remain off scene.

Paul,

I'm always up for a caramel Latte, and a real train session. Wont be long now and I'll be allowed out a bit more once Mrs Pitbull goes on maternity leave!

David,

I quite like them too, thanks,

That's it for now peeps. No more wacky ideas or changes for tonight.

Cheers

Scott

I better quickly rewind Beresford Junction back to the 1990's ready to receive the service. :O

I must admit Phil, I've been thinking about it for a while now. I've still got the 3 road depot fro the more serious work. I think the remaining 2 sidings may become part of a large depot complex. Not sure yet though because I can currently use them as holding sidings or for loco changes. The jury is still out.

Other Phil, I'm sure you must have a suitable loco down at the junction.. What about the Transrail 56, is that still knocking about?

The printed ones look good but they do fade even just under fluorescent lighting. The temperature range in the garage can shorten their life too. I'd save buildings for winter projects inside where you can have family time and maybe get the kids having a go at a simple kit too then you get to use the dining table ;)

You're too far gone to give up wacky ideas, been there :)

The fitters and staff at Redbrook have been working hard today.

"Prince William " has been cleaned.   Maybe someone had a premonition all those years ago that todays date would hold some kind of significance to the Royal family.

Hi Martin,
Thanks for asking, all's fine here, just modelling seems to be on the back burner at the moment. I've got a couple of new locos but that's about it.
Every day I think about changing the layout, with the baby fast approaching I'm thinking of downsizing again. I really want a finished layout so I can just play trains...

When I have a news of interest I will post but there's just nothing going on sadly.

Cheers

Scott
