sixoh8sixoh
WHO 1 was a genuine privately owned car which lived not far from me here in Darkest Hampshire and loaned to the BBC for the programme! (HO was one of the old designations for Hampshire!) And for that reason, when they filmed Battlefield in 1988/9 (as they were using public roads), they had to put a different number plate on Bessie - WHO 7. 43110andyb
The saint. Unable to find DO 5599. But OA 5599 coincidentaly was used in the film Vanishing Point. Another easy one -- TH
Jim49
Yes, you're right with both The Saint and Vanishing Point. I did wonder if the 1st letter was an "O " or a "D" at the time. TH 1 - Ted Heath the politician? Jim

D6975
Cubby Brocolli & Columbo Columbo - correct They sold the original thinking they weren't going to make any more and then Peter Falk changed his mind and returned after a break of a few years, so they had to buy another.
