RMweb Premium Kris Posted September 26, 2011 RMweb Premium Share Posted September 26, 2011 Thanks, will have to pop into Plymouth to get a copy at some point then.
craigwelsh
What, nothing about Paddington, blimey! I might have to review my subscription of this mag, the discount makes it a bit cheaper but I rarely get much of use in the recent ones. Horsebox article will get a read though, are we up to the modern ones and BR period now?
ThePipersSon
Horsebox article will get a read though, are we up to the modern ones and BR period now? No. N12 seems to be the last diagram to be covered.
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted October 2, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted October 2, 2011 Just spotted this issue by chance in WHS today and bought it on the strength of the superb article on Honeybourne - fantastic!
exet1095
It's a very good issue. there is also a colour photo on the back cover of a BR period Hall with a 3,500 gallon tender, something I thought had vanished from the class by then. It is impossible to tell the livery but I am going to try to find a stray Bachmann tender to give to a renumbered Guild Hall now.
Horsetan
Have tried to blow up the combined OS maps of Honeybourne to something approximating 1:76.2 scale. The result is simply massive
RMweb Gold Captain Kernow Posted December 1, 2011 RMweb Gold Share Posted December 1, 2011 Have tried to blow up the combined OS maps of Honeybourne to something approximating 1:76.2 scale. The result is simply massive I expect you'll be making a start on the point work for all those junctions first...
