Waverley47708
Thanks Mac, I was blissfully unaware until your post re the problem with my Calendar entry. Seems that a slip of the fingers when entering the show onto the Calendar resulted in the show being on for over a year rather than over a weekend. As much as I do enjoy the show, holding it for over a year may have been a bit much!! Anyway with the help of one of the Moderators it is now sorted. Perth Show 23 and 24 June 2012. Let the countdown begin..............

Off course you could use the train and arrive at the station which is 5 mins from the venue. Either way hope to see you at the show. http://www.perthmrc.com/page5.htm FREE car parking at the venue! And don't froget we will be running DCC seminars on both days which will be led by DCC Supplies Ltd Check out the website for the latest info the show http://www.perthmrc.com/page5.htm
RMweb Premium Torper Posted May 26, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 26, 2012 Quite rightly, Perth regards itself as Scotland's premier model railway show. I therefore find it difficult to understand why, yet again, Perth hasn't managed to feature even a single P4 layout among the 32 that are apparently booked. Jamie
S4 Society AGM is at Linlithgow on the same weekend - may both have something to do with availability of such layouts and offer P4 adherents an opportunity to attend both events on the one trip. Get the both of both worlds
SEM63A
We will take on board feedback in order to continually improve our event and really appreciate to hear views on this forum. P4 layouts are on our list for future years. For example, such are the space constraints for guest layouts that we are filling space in our 2014 show already! Thanks for the complimentary comments about the show too! This is our 21st consecutive show and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone. sulzer27jd
S4 Society AGM is at Linlithgow on the same weekend - may both have something to do with availability of such layouts and offer P4 adherents an opportunity to attend both events on the one trip. Get the both of both worlds The Grampian S4 group were invited to attend but they will be at Linlithgow on the Saturday at the S4 AGM. Looking forward to the show though. Widely regarded as the best in Scotland, the line-up looks like it will be a great event. J
SEM63A
Just another update from Stan... The Keith & Dufftown Railway will be having a book launch all weekend on their stand where the author will be present to sign copies. The book is called Lighthearted Lines by David R Fasken and features memories and stories from Inverness, through the Highlands and the North East of Scotland. Features previously unmpublished photographs too.
RMweb Premium Torper Posted May 29, 2012 RMweb Premium Share Posted May 29, 2012 The Grampian S4 group were invited to attend but they will be at Linlithgow on the Saturday at the S4 AGM. To be fair, that invitation was for the S4 Society stand, not for a layout. It was however very welcome and we would have seized on it with both hands had it not been for the fact that the S4Soc AGM is at Linlithgow that same weekend and we'll all be there. Hopefully we'll get an invitation again next year and will be able to attend. As it is, we're hoping that the fact that the Perth show is on the same weekend as our AGM will be an added incentive for southern S4 modellers to venture north to take in both events. black and decker boy
Well the finishing touches have today been put to several new items of stock for Eskmuir with more being finished up in Manchester as well which will hopefully add to the Scottish feel. SEM63A
Update from Exhibition Manager: Due to circumstances beyond our control Hornby will no longer be in attendance for this year only.
