Horsetan
I think this is another re-incarnation of a certain "MR Ray M..........D" !!!! I may be wrong, but I would go to Paddy Power and slap a £5.00 bet on it. You might get better odds at William Hill's.

Guest Natalie Graham
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item19ceec1413 maybe madness but maybe not, just the way it is written makes me very suspicious, never mind the vendors name, anyone shed some light to it? POST FREE UK BUYERS ONLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A UK POSTAL ADDRESS is a bit of a mystery too. Removed a/c
POST FREE UK BUYERS ONLY UNLESS YOU HAVE A UK POSTAL ADDRESS is a bit of a mystery too. Not really eg. I would bid and then have him mail it to my friend in the UK who would then mail it to me. Edited March 30, 2012 by thebritfarmer
industrial
Isn't that the one George Stephenson built for the Rainhill Lawnmower Trials? The one that never happened as by they had got up steam each time it started to rain again as like a typical English summer.

True it could have been better worded, but that is such a common mistake.

Kenton
http://www.ebay.co.u...=item2ebcacab82 Am I odd to find this a little bit offensive disturbing and would wonder at the motives of the buyer - this seller has more of the like. I would have thought they should have been returned to the club concerned or simply destroyed if not wanted. RMweb Gold Metr0Land Posted April 4, 2012 RMweb Gold Share Posted April 4, 2012 Not ebay madness but something seems to have gone awry with Amazon. Am looking for a copy of Workhorses of London Underground which was published for something like £8.95 - a couple of used one on sale in US/Canada for $30-40 + p/p from other vendors. Looking for said book on Amazon UK shows nil stock but they can supply used ones through these 2 stockists: http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/offer-listing/0904711870/ref=dp_olp_used?ie=UTF8&condition=used
37255
Well, I suppose if noone's selling them there's a slight logic in taking your chance listing it at a daft price - unlike eBay, amazon doesn't charge unless the item sells, so I guess there's a logic to "I'll put it at a daft price and someone MIGHT be that desperate for a copy"
Kenton
Probably been stripped from a layout that itself has been scrapped, maybe? More than likely as the same seller seems to have quite a few. I just find it a little distasteful. To think that someone might buy them just to place on any old layout and claim some credit of exhibition provenance. I think they belong with the layout and scrapped with it or returned to the club(s) concerned.
