Rails of Sheffield have clearly built a good name and getting premium prices.

BTW I hadn't noticed they'd dropped their postage charge to £1 for non-recorded delivery.

Makes a change from paint it yellow and put Network Rail stickers on it.

Don't you just love the way he says 'possibly repainted' ? BTW route 11 has always been double deck, let alone seeing any BET product anywhere near it.......

Anyone fancy shelling out 815 sovs plus £42 p/p on this layout?

http://www.ebay.co.u...=item416b15ba41

If I read the small print correctly the layout does not exist.

It is an offer to build one as per the photo.

I wonder what he got for his previous versions that he states that he has sold.

pico points are interesting but I would have thought he would have built a power supply and controller into it for that price.

A miss use of the "new" description as I would understand the word.

Our old friend Gostrude has now entered the collectors market for modern DCC fitted diesels. Large numbers of Bachmann Class 37's and 47 at about £250 a pop and they are not even sound fitted ones!!

What ever planet he is on it certainly isn't this one... :jester:

No, he definitly is on this planet, but his customers are not! Look at his ended listings, more than 75% of his items were sold:

He found a planet full of gullible aliens, and he is making good money out of it! :sarcastichand:

and if he reads this I am sure he is laughing all the way to the bank. The business model evidently works despite the comments. I wonder what he would charge for an Impetus kit?

Presumably you're referring to things like this, which he lists as "kit built" but then later describes as merely "repainted, decaled and numbered." Sooner or later he's going to rip off the wrong person. I hope.

Already has dis-satisfied customers but with 000's of feedbacks p.a. it doesn't really dent his score

Edit for typo

Oh dear.

That's the polite version.

Most of his other TT stuff is quite good, apart from these detailed suburbans (my italics)

This isn't my idea of "weathering".
