Looking back through the pictures I think the bushes are too 'bushy' and looks hectic. Whereas static grass in it's place would give it a better rustic style and less rural for a station area. I reckon a trip to the model shop before it closes at 17:00 and a few hours in the shed and I could transform the look of the layout. And now most of my modern loco's are DCC fitted I could give the layout a more modern touch. For example instead of GWR cream it could be First Great Western purple, and add modern platform features like vending and ticket machines.
