34theletterbetweenB&D
Having followed the 'Flying Sotsman' thread in 'Kit and Scratchbuilding' to no small extent out of appreciation for the thread title, the thought keeps bubbling up, are there any other similarly small changes one could make to loco names for equal effect? Just one letter added, subtracted, altered or moved so that at a glance the eye sees nothing unexpected, but when actually read is amusing. The Doncaster pacific names offer real potential. I can feel the temptation to order plates for 60021 Wild Swat, 60059 Tracey, 60090 Grandpa Ade, 60125 Scottish Onion, 60160 Auld Freekie, 60517 Ocean Swill.
